Why does the Autocad 2015 demo take over 1 hour to download over highspeed internet?

At over 2G of file download, you'd think it would be a bit slimmer.

As a result I will look for something with less of a footprint .

No problem here.

I can usally get it in about 20 min or less @ 12mps download speed.

Quick test: 25min @ 10mbs here in North America.

Your location, connection to the Internet, running programs, virus checkers, malware running on your pc, etc.  is the reason.

Don't blame the player, or in this case the software.

Do you really need AutoCAD or can you get by on the free version of SketchUp?

The demo part, it's the full version so it's not going to be smaller if you thought it was supposed to be.
