Where to post a complaint

I don't see where to post a complaint , so I will do it here.

I work with 2014 and I do not know if I have ever seen such a poor realise.

It has so many issues I just want to post  my frustration and disappointment.

Keep up a good work

One-by-one what issues are you experiencing?

My issues regardes mostly to 3d modeling.

AutoCAD is crashing when I change camera wiew, when 3d orbiting, and it is a daily thing.

I loose sun and sky settings, so I need to seet them over and over again. also daily issue.

Occasionally fail to render, massage: need to be at least one solid or surface to render.

Sysvar are reset to default.

If it wasn't frustrating it would be just silly.

O, I need to mention that I have 15 years cad experience.

Have a nice day

"Posting" a complaint or question or whatever here might get you some workarounds and will do good to spread the word, but you need to submit a support request directly to Autodesk if you want them to know about it. These forums are largely populated by our peers, not Autodesk employees.

Be sure to include details such as your O/S, what SP level you have installed, whether or not the problem is repeatable on demand, include a sample drawing if needed, etc.

If you are not on subscription, then there is a place to leave feedback too.

Are you running as Civil 3D or are you running as vanilla AutoCAD?

What are your system specs.  (graphics card might be important for your complex work)

Can you attach a file here that causes crash on changing camera view or 3D Orbit?

Can you attach a file here that returns error, "...need to be at least one solid or surface to render."?

Hi,

No it isn't Civil, and it is not just one dwg.

I have over 20 models and it happened with every one.

Hm, i have intel I7-4770, g card is Nvidia GeForce GT 640 1024 Mb.

Truth to be told, I was saving on graphic card. Only thing I have noticed that it  is a little bit slower.

Render thing is not that often, and copy-paste to a new dwg usually does the trick.

Thanks for the help

With over 20 models - that demonstrating this behavior - that would give Autodesk a lot of examples to use to track down the problem. I recommend that you attach one of those models here.

I see there are many other people out there with similar problems of bad support / help. I have no more options but to resort to more serious alternatives. no human-being helping me activate my product. Terrible online help / contact. Only get autorespons emails back -It is impossible to make contact with a human-being to help you. Contact and help links lead you around in circles to the same places never getting you closer to a solution or someone human to help you. I repeated myself soo many times through desperate attemps and keep getting autoresponse that I can't reply to or talk to someone. I have tried all options suggested and no result. I am installing Combustion on a new machine as I URGENTLY need to open old projects. The activation code sent to me last time does not work! I tried registering online to request activation code and it mailed me the same old one that does not work. I have received plenty autoresponse emails telling me the same things I have done over and over again and none helping me. Your help/ contact on your website is shocking. I can't get hold of one human-being to resolve this for me. Ineed one person to help me from beginign to end until it is resolved and not pass me onto someone else where I have to repeat myself and tell them again that I have tried whatever they are going to suggest nor do I want them to send me links to places I have already been. I have been very patient up to now but am extremely frustrated and angry now. I need to do work NOW URGENTLY and can't wait anymore. Very unproffesional!

Who is your VAR human being person representing Autodesk)?

I notice that in one of your threads you posted your personal serial number - you can now expect that to be stolen by a pirate and it will not be usable.

Are you a student or commercial user?

What product - be specific?  (long time ago is not specific)

What OS? (new machine is not specific enough)

Did you purchase human support?  (on-line purchase)

Do you have a friend with more computer experience. (your serial number is clearly visible in image you posted)

I have notified moderator to remove the image.

No, this is a user-to-user forum.  Other Autodesk product users - just like you.  For full support, purchase subscription support.

Activation code is machine specific - so if you are attempting to use a code assigned to a previous machine, it will not work.

There is a limit to the number of activations.

All of your posts are in the wrong forum - you should be posting over here

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/bd-p/24

None of your previous posts includes any information (other than perhaps the serial number - which I would not post to the world) that could be used in solving your problem.

Now we (users like you) know

old software - new machine (nothing more specific) stated OK, Looks like Combustion from image, but not what release year.

serial number

Thanks for response.
This is the best assistance and info I have received

Purchased and collected physical disk from Autodesk supplier in South
Africa.

Combustion 4. Last installed on another Windows 8 ( which worked fine )
machine last year. I have communicated that new installation is on another
machine. ( also Windows 8 )

I need to open old projects for client. Its for instances like this that I
need to be able access older stuff. With it been discontinued I have been
using Nuke consiquently.

Thanks for notifying moderator

I have finally received another reply from Autodesk but it is the same
generic one everyone keeps sending me.I have repeated my story and will see
where it gets me.

Many thanks
Clinton

I don't know anything about the Combustion product -

but you might try this viewer

Autodesk 360 Viewer

it is supposed to view a lot of different file types.
