What are these things, and how do I get rid of them?

In certain commands, distance and angle information shows up around my cursor.  I think these are tooltips, but I've turned off everything related to tooltips that I could find in Options, and still there they are.  I really don't need them, and as you can see in the screencap, sometimes they actually hurt my drafting by cluttering up the screen and make it hard to see what I'm doing.

Hi,

Tool tips are from Dynamic input feature, set System variable DYNMODE=0 to turn them off. You can also toggle Dynamic input with F12 key.
