VERY strange problem PURGE Copy/Paste

I've include a link to a video I've made to show the problem:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUvWIB9Qpr0&feature=youtu.be

When I enter the PURGE command you can skip the video to 1:45, it take a long time to open the dialogue box.

When I copy/paste things and then open the PURGE dialogues box, around 50 000 "phantom" blocks appear. I purge all item, close the dialogue box, copy/paste even a single line and 50 000 more block appear.

The problem is that I can't copy things. I have to purge, save, close AutoCAD and now I'm abble to paste maybe 4 to 5 time before I need to: purge, save, close etc.......

What's weirder, is if I copy a single line to an other drawing that is OK and don't have this problem, it will instantaly get the problem with all those 50 000 blocks and can't copy.

PS: Sorry for my english 😉

Thanks for your reply, but it doesn't work. I've also tried a lots of other tricks I've found on different forum but I didn't found anything like the problem I have.

This morning I tried to insert my "corrupted" drawing as a XREF and redraw everything with BPOLY, unatached the XREF and it work perfectly for something like 3 hours and the problem suddenly re-appeared.

When I try to copy a simple line I have this message:

Command: Specify opposite corner or [Fence/WPolygon/CPolygon]:
Command: _copyclip 1 found
Command: _pasteclip Duplicate definition of block _ArchTick  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block _Open30  ignored.
Specify insertion point:

And when I try to copy a more complexe drawing I have more "Duplicate definition":

Command: _pasteclip Duplicate definition of block _ArchTick  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block _Open30  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block VIS_#8_TR  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block A$C32400582  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block A$C4D9608A8  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block A$C18AB663A  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block A$C7DA721DC  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block A$C51690BB4  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block A$C22CB5286  ignored.
Duplicate definition of block GRAIN  ignored.
Specify insertion point:

Those are actual block I need to copy, but why I have all those msg and why those it create 50 000 ghost block.

Try a search of these forums for "DGN Linestyle".  Not sure, but your issue sounds similar and I know there are solutions posted out there.

Post the DWG file, let's see it in action for ourselves.

I've found how to fix this 😄

1st I've installed and run the trial version of Superpurge:
http://www.manusoft.com/software/superpurge.html

then I've installed and run this Hotfix from Autodesk:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-C2-AE-dgn-hot...

and finished with a normal purge

Thanks to all for your help.
