Using VIEWBASE and VIEWSECTION

Hi guys,

I've just started experimenting with the commands VIEWBASE and VIEWSECTION to get automatically updating views of my 3D models. However, I experience some difficulty getting the sections to look the way I want.

- Hatches seem to overlap lines, and the HATCHTOBACK command doesn't seem to solve it.

- I get inconsistent hatching on adjacent solids.

- I'd like to change the linetype of indicvidual lines in the resulting views.

Any help on any of these would be greatly appreciated! There are probably more to come, so stay tuned!:)

Sorry to tell you that this functionality simply isn't available yet.

I too was excited about these new base view and section views but then was disapointed with how the display and print. Try looking at a curved object in a shaded mode and notice how pixelated it displays around the edges (and it prints that way too).

I think that this is an area that they have introduced but have lacked on improving since they released it.

My suggestion would be to try to join the beta testing team and make some suggestions there.
