I have the same problem... This error only occurs when the Civil 3D 2013 Object Enabler is loaded. I can unload it, but it would be very helpful being able to view Civil's proxy information. Autodesk????
Just to chime in on this error. Working in IT I have all sorts of Autodesk software installed on my PC with various versions. A user asked to have TrueView installed to be able to open and view Civil 3D created files. On my PC I installed TrueView and noticed that AECCObjects didn't appear, so I went to the Civil OE. Even though it says "Not Tested" in the OE installer, it still installed for TrueView 2014. I don't recieve any errors, but the user with no other CAD software get's this error opening files with AECCObjects but the Civil objects still show up and the TrueView works fine after ignoring the errors.
I don't have an answers to the error, but just confirming that it looks to be the Civil OE\AECCObjects and not having the right registered files on the PC. Wish I could add more to the dicusssion.
I am having the same issue.
I have an excel file that has DWG files hyperlinked to it. When I click on the link to open the DWG file this error pops up if I do not have AutoCAD currently running. AutoCAD does begin it's executable in the task manager but doesn't continue to load properly.
After clicking "OK" on the error above this error pops up:
If AutoCAD is currently running everything works great. The DWG files do not have any civil objects. It only contains simplistic items: mtext, lines, circles, etc.
