unable to .dwg 2007 file in autocad 2000

Hi team,

I am writing in excel and pasting it in autocad 2007 and saving it to autocad 2000.Now i am unable to edit the image in autocad 2000.
Can you please give some suggestion how to edit an object in autocad 2000.

If you are creating a spreadsheet in excel, then copying and using the PASTE SPECIAL option and PASTING LINKED, you would not ever edit in AutoCAD, any version. You would edit the spreadsheet in excel. The spreadsheet will then automatically update. Many times the update does not show in the drawing file until it is closed and reopened.

If you do not use the PASTE SPECIAL and PASTE LINKED, you will have to re-copy and paste the spreadsheet.
