Tool Palette block search

Is it possible to perform a search of the blocks in the tool palette aside from opening up each drawing or directory that contains the library of blocks? We have many blocks where the part numbers (many blocks are named using part numbers) are quite similar and it would be nice to perform a quick search for the available blocks in the tool palette with particular part numbers. Anyone ever come across something like this?

Hi, thank you for your suggestion. I visited the link, however I was hoping for some type of search using the current AutoCAD tool palette since that is what everyone will be using to access the blocks.

Have you tried to use the Design Center?

Hi Murph, the link to "The Forgotten About Design Center" could not have been any more appropriate. That is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much! I've used it to create tool palettes, but never thought about using it for searching through the library of blocks.
