we have a plasma cutting table that uses dxf input to cut our shapes. we need to make block letters and need to know how to convert text in to lines. the txtexp command does not work. tracing lines over letters is very time consuming. is there another way? is there a product that makes dwg or dxf of letters with different font styles
Presuming you are using TrueType fonts, look on Exchange for a program called TextToGeometry. It does a much better job than the ExpressTools TextExplode
