hi,

I recently installed the autocad 2013 student version on my backup computer (my first computer is at the technical assistance) but know all my drawings are "infected" with the student version watermark.

My first computer had the 2012 student version and the watermark never apeared.

what can i do??

"My first computer had the 2012 student version and the watermark never apeared."

Have you ever printed any drawing made from this computer?

I found this hard to believe.

Indeed, the watermark/plotstamp appears on all drawings containing content created or saved with a Student version (student license).

Have you activated 2013 with your student license yet?  The warning(s) should go away after activation, however the plotstamp will persist, as that cannot be removed from an Autodesk product using a Student license agreement.

Are you trying to get rid of the watermark?  If so, it can't be done.

The watermark is "supposed" to be there for Student software.

Like Patchy, I have difficulty believing it was not also present your 2012 if you were using it with a Student license.

The watermark is a feature of all Studesnt versions of AutoCAD software: it will always appear when you plot (or convert to PDF) in all versions of AutoCAD with Student licenses, including R2012 Student license.

So either your R2012 was not licensed through an EDU registration (it does happen often), or you never ever plotted from AutoCAD 2012 EDU.

Are you simply distracted by the pop-up EDU warning only?

All I can say is CONGRATULATION, You're the lucky winner of $4,000 worth of Autodesk 2012 product.

Let's see, why don't you open the 2012 autocad, type in ABOUT, and look at what it said for License.

I don't understand what the problem is?

If you are a student - who cares if it prints the edu watermark?

If you are not a student - purchase a commercial license.
