Status Bar of AutoCAD 2015 - Can it be changed to look like in 2014?

The Status Bar of 2015 is different -  can it be changed to look like in previous releases, like in 2014?

Thanks in advance.

It depends on what you mean exactly.

If you want the TEXT instead of the icons, then NO. The TEXT is gone.

If you mean something different, then point it out on this image please.

2015 has newer icon images, the old ones are not available in the program.

You can't replace icons with words like you could in Acad 2014 but by picking on the icon on the far right of the 2015 status bar you can open a list of icons and you can chose which ones to set visible or not by selecting them from the list - so you can almost replicate the 2014 status bar.

Hi, this might be a tad off-topic, but I need to know how to bring up the customization icon on my status bar, since its supposed to be in the extreme right below but its missing. Im talking about the 3 horizontal lines you click to customize whatever icons you want or dont. Is there a keyboard shortcut for it or something? please let me know.

A quick reply would be appreciated.

Try right-clicking on your Model/Layout tabs and "Dock above Status Bar"

I've seen this bug before on 2015.
Hopefully @nestly2 's suggestion will work for you..

Guys, thanks a lot for your inputs. I found an easier way to bring up the customization buton.

I merely changed the resolution of the desktop to 1280 x 800 from the previous 1024x768 that i used for gaming purposes.

Your method ensured that I neednt have changed my resolution.

Thanks a lot!
