At work we occasionally find the need to override a dimension with a text description. Is it possible to stack this text?

Thanks,

Nick

Can you provide a screenshot of your desired before/after result?

Yes.  Edit the dimension text as follows.

DDEDIT command, type it as you wish, with an <enter> keyboard strike in between the words.

or double-click on the text and when the dialog box comes up  type

CURRENT\XOVERRIDE

the \X acts as a carriage return

In your example \P may work as well (carriage return without pushing the second line below the dimension line if your sample was horizontal and not vertical.

CURRENT\POVERRIDE

Note that in the last two examples both the X and the P are in ALL CAPS, lower case does not have the same effect.
