Shifting text in MLEADERS

If i add a leader with text that is left justified and then edit that
text so that the distance between then end of the leader and the middle
of the top line changes it actually moves the text instead of adjusting
the length of the leader landing.

You'll notice in the attached picture that the note changes position in relation to the green vertical line.
You can also try it inthe attached drawing.
PLEASE....Any ideas on why this would be happening, it's extremely annoying.

Thank you in advanced,

John Gray

That's how it works with MLEADERS by design: the location of the text shifts to acommodate the leader which is never supposed to move (whether it's there or not).

If you always need to do this, drop text first then come back later to add a leader, you'll need to customize with a Lisp or more.

SO is there any way then to place leaders on the left side of a section, left justify the text and line it all up nicely, and make the leader landing distance adjust to the text?  Seems like this you would want the text side, left justified side, to all stay in line down a wall section of notes.

I suspect you already know the answer my friend, I won't repeat myself 😉
