Selective block replace?

I have a drawing in which I would like to swap a bunch of one block for another. I have been able to use blockreplace before because I needed to change all the blocks in a given drawing, but I don't know if there is a way to select some of my blocks to replace. Is there another similar command that will do what I need?

Thanks!

You can try one of our older freeware LISP utilities - RIBlock. See:

Here's a way to do it without lisp: Select the blocks you don't want to replace and copy them to the clipboard using copy with basepoint, then erase them. Run the blockreplace command and when done paste the other blocks back into the drawing.
