Selected line moves randomly when selected

I have an issue with my AutoCAD 2015.

If I zoom in on a line and select it, the grip for the line stays where it should, but the dashed selection line moves from the position of the original line, and the original line stays continuous.  When you zoom in and out, the duplicate selection line bounces around the original continous line.  The biggest issue is when you try to move the line, it does not respond to object snaps correctly.

I have attached screen captures of the line unselected and the line selected

Hi,

does that also happen when you set the visual style to "2D-Wireframe"?

And can you upload the drawing?

First thought was to turn of hardware acceleration, but you already had it disabled. Have you disabled it for any reasons? What graphic card do you have?

When I switch to 2D-Wireframe the problem is fixed.  I had been in the "Shaded" visual style.  I've attached the file and it should be zoomed into the area of question.

Is there any reason why it would do that in "Shaded" and not in "2D-Wireframe"?

Thanks,

Hi,

wow, I had that years ago with some special drivers from nVidia and now it is back again.

What I can say: you are zoomed to a real small area, when you zoom out the situation get's better.

Also: when I disable hardware acceleration I can grip the object.

Sorry not to be able to help, Just verify your hardware acceleration setting and see if anything changes.

What graphic card do you have?
