Is there a section line command in AutoCAD similar to the amsectionline command in AutoCAD Mechanical? I use AutoCAD mechanical but I will be teaching a course using plain AutoCAD. I suppose that the feature isn't there because of standards, but is there any plan to add features like this to regular AutoCAD? For now, I'm using leaders without text and and making my own section lines that way. I wonder how this could be done with dynamic blocks and have the option of creating offset section lines and quarter section lines. What are your thoughts on this and things like power commands not being available in regular AutoCAD?
