Scaling a 3D drawing

I'm trying to scale down 3D drawings but when I use the 3DSCALE command the perspective gets distorted.  Is there a way I can scale my drawing without messing up the perspective?

Hi,
What kind of objects you are trying to scale?
Why you use 3DSCALE, but not SCALE command?
Does only View gets distorted, or objects itself?

Could you post screen shots of what happens (before and after you scale)

Can you post an example? I have tried different axis and planes to scale and I am not having the same problem when using 3DSCALE command.

I'm a AutoCad rookie so there is no particular reason I used 3DScale vs. Scale.

IMHO the images are equal in all cases, just after you scale the objects they became smaller on screen, try to move camera (not Zoom) closer to the chair.

Can you explain why you are attempting to scale a chair?

A chair is what it is.  It should be 1:1.

Sounds like you need to change you camera position (zoom) not scale of the part?

I basically need thumbnails of multiple drawings and I want them all to the exact same scale but much smaller than the original drawings.  As I said I have little to no experience with AutoCad, so how would I go about changing the camera position?  I need to keep the drawing at the custom rotation it is set at.
