Ribbon commands not working - Autocad crush

Hallo everybody,

a Colleague of mine has the following problems

We are using Autocad 2013 installed via Building Suite 2013,  Windows 7 64bit. Unfortunately he is facing some problems.

- Ribbon buttons can not be used, but when I use command line is working.

- Options can be opened only restricted just when  AutoCAD is started with "Run as administrator"

- Options tab doesn't work properly does change the contents.

- Not possible to switch between model and layout via any buttons

Actually is not possible to use any of the buttons but just the common line.

The Autocad configuration is used from 8 more cad users without problem.

I have posted some screenshots for your help.

I will appreciate any help or ideas.

Thank you in advance.

Have you tried to Repair your C3D installation?

Control Panel->>Programs->>Autocad C3D

Yes I already did this.

It worked once and after the new start the next day, the same problems occurred.

These are all classic signs of an incorrect install which has been interfered with by a combination of UAC, anti-virus, and permissions settings.  I recommend doing a full uninstall (which includes cleaning out any remaining registry entries and files) and *slowly* going through the installation process, ensuring adequate permissions, disabled UAC and anti-virus.  Follow that by running the program at least once with full admin/power user permissions so that the appropriate sections of the registry can be modified correctly.
