REFEDIT - Restricting object highlight

Objects highlight when you move your mouse over them.

When I'm using REFEDIT I only want the objects within that XREF/Block to highlight, (since you can't modify objects outside of the reference, and it'll help speed up my system.)

Is there a system vairable that can help me here?

Thanks!

Jonathan.

"...since you can't modify objects outside of the reference..."

To help understand why object highlighting works this way in REFEDIT, note that while your statement is basically correct, REFEDIT does allow you to select objects "outside the working set" so that you may add them to "the working set".

If you prefer not to (or don't have to) see objects that are not part of the block definition as you edit it, you could use BEDIT instead.
