refedit cancels

Hi all,

When I use the refedit command on an xref

Command: _refedit
Select reference: 3606.255802,-82.406967,0.000000
*Cancel*

1. Tried unattaching and reattaching

2. Tried resaving it under a different name

3. Tried restarting autocad

4. Tried restarting computer

Nothing has worked, refedit simply cancels. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Autodesk Community, arthurjwong

Perhaps there may be some objects created by a third-party application, try to set DEMANDLOAD System Variable, to 3 and try again the REFEDIT command.
If the behavior still the same, consider using the XOPEN Command...
