RE: Is there a way to render Autocad/Inventor files in Powerpoint?

I need to present a solution I created in a autodesk/inventor file. How can I render a moveable image/file inside of Powerpoint?

Hi,

>> I need to present a solution I created in a autodesk/inventor file

You landed in the wrong forum, please try that in the forum for Autodesk Inventor >>>there<<<.

Good luck, - alfred -

Hello

When you said ... How can I render a moveable image/file inside of Powerpoint ...

Maybe you need to generate this kind of Super 3D moveable PDF !? ... Look at the joined PDF ...

The solution is Tetra4D PDF Tools for ACAD, Revit, Inventor, etc ... But it has a cost !!

You can save a Render or Animation in Inventor by going to Environments>Inventor Studio.

Then place your image or animation into Powerpoint.

You can also place *.dwf files saved from Inventor into Powerpoint for real-time zooming, panning, turning components on/off.

And there is always the Autodesk Screencast Recorder option (free).

Can you describe your design intent in more detail?

How much Inventor experience do you have?

Hi JDMather,

I accepted your solution as my answer. I'm new to Inventor but not new to AutoCAD. I went through the tutorials and got my solution. I had to import my models from autocad then I used your suggestion to get my results for PowerPoint. Thank you.
