"Dress" box shaped object

Hello everyone.

I stuck with designing box similar object. I want to "dress" object with honeycomb texture, but don't know how :/. I googled and found exactly what I want: http://inhabitat.com/2008/08/06/mad-sinosteel-plaza/

Does anyone know how I can do that?

Thank you

BR Jerry

Can you attach the dwg file here of what you have completed so far?

Are you familiar with AutoCAD?

How much experience?

Do you want only a cosmetic texture or do you want modeled features?

Sure, it is not that much...

File: http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/443440/object-dwg.html

Well I am quite fammiliar with AutoCAD, but I was always drawing in 2d not 3d.

Basically what I want is 4mm thick net like honeycomb. The hexagons shoud be 5mm in diameter and 2.5mm spacing in between. Only sides and top side should be covered in this net (the base and net will be one piece at the end).

Thank you!

BR, Jerry
