when i installed autocad 2013 student version i got the following message:
Some files could not be created. Please close all application, reboot windows and restart this installation.
after doing so it again shows the same message . Installation log file is attached .
basically i got this message in the log file.
Cannot create autorun.inf
Try the Download with browser rather than the autodownloader/installer.
Turn off UAC and anti-virus before installing.
(since you have already tried installing you might need to search Google for Autodesk Clean Uninstall instructions before doing the re-install)
what are your system specs? (including OS)
And can you upload your install-logfile? So we can see what files are missing or could not be created.
At least in your first post it told you that you had to reboot and then start the installation again. Had you rebooted? Had you tried to start the setup with right-mouse-click and "run as administrator".
BTW: do you have admin-rights?

I ve attached log file here.i rebooted when it asked so. i ve also tried installing as administrator.it didn't worked.
here are my system properties:
you should first update your Windows, there is a service pack 1 out there + a lot of hotfixes you get installed with the Windows-Update functionality. That might be one possible solution.
Next: in your log it can't extract all files, try first to download the exe (I guess it is an exe) from the Autodesk server, then copy it into a temp-folder on drive C: and use WinZIP or WinRaR or 7Zip to uncompress the EXE like you would do that with a ZIP-file. After that start from this new unextracted files the setup.
Good luck, - alfred -
Great to know you got it solved! - alfred -
