Preventing auto-stacking when entering mtext - AutoCAD 2014

Hi,

Recently installed AutoCAD 2014, and I'm currently trying to type the text:

TC1: 2/90 x 35 MGP10 studs with 4/2.8mm dia nails each end

It keeps stacking the 2/90 into the fraction 2 over 90. How can I turn auto-stacking off? I know I managed to turn it off for AutoCAD 2012, but now I can't find the option or system variable.

while using mtext, highlight the fraction, right click, the option of auto or disable is in there.

As another suggestion....

When calling out quantities of things as you described in you original post, instead of saying 2/90, why not express it as 2-90?

I would assume that if people saw the quantitiy expressed as a fraction, they might mistake it for a fraction.

Ah well, it's a case of standardised nomenclature.

Anyway, the right-click thing worked. In full, it was:

Highlight fraction, right-click, "Stack Properties", "Auto-Stack", Uncheck "Auto-Stack" tickbox.
