Plot drawing with point cloud nested in xref

We are using an Xref that contains a Pointcloud from an RCP file.

The drawing will not show the pointcloud when we plot it.

One machine doesn't even show the point cloud. It doesn't even appear in the xref manager.

Another machine shows the point cloud fine, but the point cloud will not plot.

Both machines are using AutoCAD 2014 (one is plain AutoCAD, the other is a Product Design Suite license running AutoCAD as AutoCAD (not Mechanical).

I'm baffled.

As a work around just to get a print, we brought the Point cloud directly into the drawing we are printing.

Any clues?

Lyle

Might this be an Object Enabler issue?

If the object has a layer in the source file, is it layer 0?  What about the layer the XREF entity is on in the host drawing?  Need to check the various combinations of object layers to account for Layer 0/DEFPOINTS and plot-nonplot settings.

Yep, checked all that. The cloud and xref(s) are on their own layers. Those layers are thawed, on, and set to plot....
