Place a jogline on a baseview elevation

Hello,

I'm using AutoCAD 2013 and have a bseview elevation of a 3D telephone pole.  The pole is very tall and I have a few details on it that I'd like to show and instead of doing a bunch of detail bubbles all over, I'd like to just break the pole using a jogline at a certain height.  I can do this by creating a viewport but how can I do this using the baseview tool?  Is it possible?

Thanks for any help.

So I'm guessing correctly, since no one replied, that there is no way to place a jogline onto a Base projection to split a 3D model.  Could Autodesk please add that for the next release?

create the base view of the pole at a small scale and place that on a no plot layer. then pull details off of that base view and use a larger scale for each detail. again put anything on a noplot layer that you don't want to show.

Thanks! That's a nice little workaround.
