Opening AutoCAD 20212/2014 dwgs

Can I use AutoCAD 2015 to open and modify dwgs originally created in AutoCAD Architecture 20212/2014.

Probably have to use EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command to make Arch. drawing turn into regular autocad drawing.

Do you know if they would need to be exported from Architecture?

I have some client files for a potential project that were created in Architecture.  The client isn't able to export them, since they just have the files, not the software.

Plain autocad has that command
