Open a previous drawing when starting AutoCAD

Hi all,

Could someone please tell me there is any way to automatically open a previous drawing instead of opening the default one named Drawing1.dwg whenever starting AutoCAD?

Thanks.

It a bit hard for AutoCAD to decide which drawing you want to open in a multiple document interface (MDI) because you may open more than 1 drawing in a single session and AutoCAD is not able to tell which one is your favourite.

People usually add frequently accessed folders to the folder docking area at left side of the Select File dialogue when using OPEN command.

Just drag the folder from right side to this docking area to create a shotcut.
