obtain Hatch boundaries from Object reference

I received a file with all hatches as reference objects. I need the hatchs boundaries. When exploding them, I get the hash converted to polygons. Is there a way to extract the hatch from the object reference?

If you have the unexploded hatch pattern, you can right-click on it and select "generate boundary". Is this what you need?

Sorry, I forgot to mentions, the hatchs are "block references", can I generate boundaries of a block reference? how?

There is no 'boundaries from blocks' option, unless you want to do it the long way with BOUNDARY command while having your blocks contained in a temporary box.

Since the blocks are references, I cant edit them, if I explode them, depending on the hatch draw, redarwing the countour is more or less dificult.

What do you mean with place the blocks in a temporary box?

Hi lbonavino,

if possible, attach a sample dwg, with a few 'hatches as reference objects'.
