obscure lines is very slow

Since Autocad 2015 SP2 it takes forever! to print PDF's

obscure lines while printing take 10-20min instead 10sec in SP1, especially in Perspectives.

also with very simple drawings.

Someone know a solution for this problem?

Hello

Unfortunately the SP 2 is sometimes "erratic", so please Un-Install and come back to 2014 + SP 1 !

But before, have you some text styles with the "Big Font" option enabled ?

Because there is a specific "Big Font" Patch Post-SP 2 :

In addition to other tips (and yes, remove SP2 first), see if this is a fix if you use HP printers/plotters http://latitude-it.net/hp-designjet-plotter-drivers-and-windows-8/

I don't use "Big Fonts" and there is no HP printer connected.

I've tried the BigFont Hotfix, but still the same problem.

i deinstalled SP now. and it works perfect again (with SP1). thank you.

but i miss the ctrl-drag copy-layout feature -.-

Hello Martin

I will appreciate to know asap if the problem is linked to the SP 2 for 2015 ?

or if it is a "more general" 2015 problem ?

Thks in advance, Patrice

Hi s.hofer/braudpat,

Thank you for your updates to this.

I have tested this on my end, using linetypes that ship with AutoCAD and all appears OK. - A PDF file is generated in a few seconds.

Settings used:

  1. OBSCUREDLTYPE = 7
  2. VSOBSCUREDLTYPE = 7

I hoped we can investigate this offline - to keep the forum tread short.

However, please provide a sample file for testing.

Once received, I will be able to proceed further.

In advance, thank you for your cooperation to this.

BTW: Using the CTRL+drag and drop to the left hand side, seems also to work just fine here on my end. - SP2 is installed.

Cheers,
Martin Langolf
