Numbering in a table?

This may have been covered in a previous posts so please forgive me.  I would like to know if AutoCAD can list in a table form a set of numbers (001, 002, 003, 004, 005, etc.).  When I put in the number in table, it just comes up with (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.)  Basically, is there a way to trick AutoCAD into placing the '00' in front of the number?

Thanks in advance.

Select your column of cells (shift+select) → Right-click on one of the cells → Select Data Format... → Change to "Text".  This will allow you to put in whatever you want.  There is also an option to add a prefix under "Whole Number", but I think you'd have to change that manually once you got to 10.  Not sure, though, because we only ever use text so we can put in whatever we want.

Work:  AutoCAD 2022.1.3, Windows 10 Pro v22H2 64-bit, Intel Core i7-8700K, 32GB RAM, Samsung 960 Pro SSD, AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100, 3 Dell Monitors (3840x2160)

Hi, the only way I have found to do it is change the data format of the cells to text.

Worked great.  The other way with the "whole number" didn't end up with the result I wanted.
