New Wipeout Frame Option

With the new "Display but not plot" option for Wipeout, I notice that the frame shows when I pass over it and is selectable.  This annoying for me.  Can the frame be off and not selectable/visible, which is how it worked for me previously?

Isn't that just Frame OFF?

I think I stated my question wrong.  Let me try again.

I have the frame toggled off, but the wipeout frame still appears when I pass over it or, even worse, it is selectable (but not visible) so when I'm trying to select other objects I keep selecting the wipeout frame.  Is there something wrong with my program or is this just the way the Wipeout command works now?

I found the problem.  The system variable FRAMESELECTION was set to (1) which is selectable.  If it is set to (0), the the frame is not selectable.
