New panel with 2 rows

I've added a panel to my ribbon and I've succesfully added 4 icons. I wanted to startv a second row of icons directly underneath it, so I added a row in the customization editor, and added an icon to this row. However, it does not appear unless I click on the panel name, then it appears underneath it. How can I get the second row to appear directly beneath the first?

If I understand correctly, make sure all of the ROWS you want visible are above the <SLIDEOUT> item

Menu > Ribbon > Panels > Your Panel Name
