Multi Leader disassociated!

How come a Multileader or Qleader disassociated or leader landing is missing.? See attachment please.

Thanks

For about a year or so when MLEADERS started I used to dopy MLEADERS in the drawing to make it easier than having to insert an MLEADER from scratch .... even if the mleader was identical (eg: just copy and move and yer done).

Then I started wondering why my mleaders were losing the landing. after a few days of investigating (read: whining and crying and throwing computers out the window) I discovered that if I oepned a drawing that was giving me leader issues and replaced ALL the leaders (the ones that had been copied also) then closed and opened the drawing the landings remained. I have not copied a leader since.

My experience.

If it is a mleader then edit the mleader style to add the landing in there.

Thanks, Ok! How about if its QLeader/Leader (w/ Mtext along with it)? Please see the attachment, originally these all leaders have landing and can re-position text with its leader. Now, Mtext are disassociated to the leader and missing its landing and need to re-work it again.

Please clarify this. Thanks Again.

I cannot give you a reason why.

For some reason some of my old q-leaders also do this when I bring them in with blocks into a newer drawing.

I use the express tool qlattach to reattach the mtext to the leader.

That is the only advice I have.

You copied them to do it easily, huh?

Copying MLEADER or QLEADER always results in un-wanted results.  Looks fine when you plop them down on the drawing but after a close and open the leaders lose the landing and any associativity they may have had.

FWIW

Thanks Rick-K!

Although it is only work for individual selection to fix it, still, that would be a big help for me here. But, I still hoping for some answers regarding this issue. Thanks Again.

Thanks Drjohn,

Not sure if I've copied the rest of the Leaders.

Anyway, Are this based on your experience or part of standard sequence in AutoCAD? Please confirm this coz  it is a very helpful tips  for those doing the easy way but a lot of time in fixing it at end specially on standard drawings and blocks that always being used.

Thanks Again!
