mouse keeps jumping to upper left corner of screen

I just loaded acad 13 civil 3d and the mouse keeps jumping to the upper left corner of the screen. It is almost impossible to work. Help...

Turn off SNAP perhaps (f9 toggles it).

I tried turning the snap off. It still does it.

You mentioned C3d, do you have a 3d mouse and something is laying on it  causing the cursor to move?

Might be a long shot but I've gotten a call or two where that's happened to people.

and if it is wireless make sure a second mouse isn't trying at the same time.  I ran into a problem with  logitech mouse and keyboard and two dongles both of which were receiving the M & kb.  made for interesting movements 🙂

Thanks for the suggestions but I have tried switching the mouse from a wireless to a wired and it is still doing it.
