Measurements and distance 2014

I have change my units from mm to meters but

when I make any drawings it apears 1000 or 100 when I really want 1.00 meters

how do I change this?

If you are referring to Drawing units dialogue box, this will not take any affect on what you going to draw.

AutoCAD does not use any specific units to draw anything , everything is in Drawing units.

That drawing units we need to decide , like meter or millimeter.

So if you want to draw 1.0 meter line, you may enter 1.0 units as the length by deciding this as meter , or 1000mm as length by deciding this as millimeter.

You can try to change the unit using -DWGUNITS. You need to use - as the command prefix.

It has option to scale your drawing, not just changing the drawing unit.
