Making a DWG that can't be edited

All,

If you had to make a DWG that:

  • Can't be edited by anybody but yourself (to keep people from copying details and using them in other drawings)
  • Must still be able to work with the DWG TrueView (which kills making a password)

How would you go about doing it?

Thanks,

PDF or DWF, along with properly reviewed and agreed upon contract terms.

Not bad. Lets say you didn't want to go that rout becasue the templates need excel data linking and the DWG viewer let's the ole embed update with the orginal excel spreadsheet without having to open the DWG file with CAD? Any thoughts on that?
