Loft command

Is there no way to loft blocks? I turned a closed 3dpoly into a block so that I can alter the shape in the future and not have to put every single section back at the right place with the right angle, but the blocks get filtered out when I use loft. Also, is there no way to create solid lofts with holes in them? I am using autocad 2013

As far as I know, there is no way to loft profiles/sections that are contained within a blocks.  If you need to keep the sections, perhaps use COPYTOLAYER to copy the blocks to another layer where you can explode and loft them.

With regard to lofting with a hole, it is possible if the profile/section is a single object that defines both the perimeter and the void, such as a REGION, otherwise probably not.
