Load survey points in AutoCAD 2015

Hello, I was wondering if points from a total station can be loaded into AutoCAD 2015 to create a surface?  We are looking to do site plans for farming applications in 3D showing land elevations and structures.

Thanks,

Jerry

Kinda-sorta-maybe.  Load points?  Probably, with a simple script.  Your total station manufacturer may provide an AutoCAD add-in to help with that.  Load points with data?  Probably not, without some customization; might be better off with Map3D.  Create a surface?  Nope; you will definitely need Civil3D or a third-party tool.

What @dgorsman said.

I'll throw out a plug for MapWorks, an affordable add on for plain AutoCAD that should do what you want.
