Is there a way to import/copy an image with URL into a DWG in one step ?

The standard approach is to import an image and then create a hotspot ...

I need to simplify this to a one step process if at all possible ...

Any suggestions gratefully accepted

Thanks

Automate with LISP perhaps to reduce a click or two, but you'd still need to sleetc the image and type in a URL.

Or are the images and URL repetitive and 100% identical in every aspect that this can be completely automated to a click or two without user input?

Thanks for your response. There will be a large number of transactions
each with a different image & unique URL.
Would it be possible to create a dwg or block containing the image/URL
with java on a web service
which could be downloaded and imported into a users dwg ???
