i am trying to download autocad 2015 free for students version and having some issues. any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

have you started the installation twice?

Do you get the same message when you:

1. reboot your workstation
2. login with a user that is admin on that workstation
3. turn off/disable antivirus software
4. start the setup.exe with right-click and option "start as administrator" (even if you are logged in as admin!)

PS: the forum for installation issues is >>>there<<<, if my suggestion does not work too then look to your log file, find the error-id's (in your case 1618 for Material lib) and search within that forum. There are a lot of suggestions worth to try!

 i had to use the browser download after restarting my computer. "install now" and "download now" werent working and continued to run in the backround and i wasnt aware. thanx for ur help!
