incorrect pesentation of 2d-drawing working area

Hi guys, so my newly downloaded AutoCad Map 3D doesn't show the standard 2d-drawing interface. Instead of looking like this:

my version looks like this:

So all the helpfull tool-buttons are missing 😞

Please, can you help me? I would be so thankful!

Ha, the solution seems to be to open AutoCAD and then loading the file instead of opening the file directly with AutoCAD

Windows uses the last version of AutoCAD you launched to open DWG files if you choose to open then from Windows Explorer.
That's how Windows and AutoCAD have always worked.

I suspect your solution will now be the default for Windows Explorer until you start MECH again unless someone at your end did some serious Windows customization.
