importing external CAD files through ObjectArx.

I want to importing external CAD files(iges, stl,...) into current drawing throgh ObjectArx, does anyone can tell me about this issue?

Hhm, I used this years ago ...

It's possible to invoke through / as lisp. Input is iges filename and option filename.

(command "_IGESOUT" ignamei opt_file)

Load igesin.arx or igesout.arx then use a acedCommandS to run igesin or igesout through ObjectARX
