How to slice an imported model from Sketchup?

Hi,

I'm a frequent user of Autocad and now i've got this model in sketchup (a .skp).

I've imported it or exported it in sketchup to a .dwg and i get the model in Autocad. 

But then when i try to slice it, it doesn't work. I think it is because it is a mesh and i've tried to converte it to a solid with numerous commands but nothing seems to do the job. 

Can anyone help me?

Because i prefet autocad although i know that Sketchup can slice too. 😛

You can't slice a mesh. See these, hope they help:
