How do you mirror map materrials

When i try and add a material reference (eg jpeg) and change the scale  etc, I cant see where the option is to mirror that material is ( as opposed to tiling it)

I want add a wood veneer that can mirror (so the veneers bookmatch so to speak)

There used to be a mirror  and/ or tile option on materials.

Can anyone help please, as the autocad  help states you can still do it ?

You don't mirror raster images like that: make a second copy of the JPEG and flip it in a graphics file editor first (even Windows Paint) is one quick and easy option.

Thanks Dean, but in release 2008 (and maybe later) you did it exactly like that, and according to the help on this issue you still can.

It makes life a lot easier.

What you suggest, is what I have been doing.

What I am looking for is some command that may turn that option on ?

This functionality was removed with the release of AutoCAD 2011.  The issue is that the Help file for "About Modifying Texture Properties" has not been adjusted.  This has been brought to up to our Development Department to be changed accordingly.  We greatly apologize for the error.

With that said, the best way to mirror your materials is to employ the use of a media editor program (Adobe Photoshop, Windows Paint, and etc.) as mentioned above.
