Hi All,

I'm ready to dip my toes into the realm of creating training videos for my AutoCAD users. Please tell me what software you use and give me any recomendations. I'm currently looking at GoToTraining, SnagIt and CAMStudio.

Any information that will nudge me in the right direction and possibly same me time and/or money will be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Sal

I have used Camtasia, Camstudio, and Jing.  Captivate is also a good product.  Depends on how much you want to spend.  Jing limits videos to 5 Min but is free and easy to upload.

I prefer Camtasia.

I've used Wink from www.debugmode.com

It's free and I've created a good library of training videos with it.

Good Luck,

Steve

Tried that "Chronicle" thing that DarrenP posted.  LOVE it!  Easy to download, easy to use, easy to share, and you don't have to be a member to view the video.  Everyone on my team was able to find it and play the first experiment I posted in just minutes.

Note that it highlights where you're clicking and what you're doing so it's even more helpful to the viewer.

I'm probably going to invest in a little PC mic so I can record some narration too.  This will be so helpful!
