how can I change the grey hatch color to black

I used by layer and black 250 color also. You can see that the gravel, the concrete foundation and the water hatch is grey. Thank you!

Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD forums !

Not sure to well understand your question !?

You can't select your hatch and force the color to Black/White (Color Code =7) ???

Bye, Pat

Please explore plot styles, e.g. using either CTB or STB to control plotting.

Might those hatches be on a layer that's locked.  LAYLOCKFADECTRL

Might a plotstyle be overriding the layer settings?  PAGESETUP > Modify > Display with plotstyles

Hello

+1 with Nestly

Please check the followings system vars :

LAYLOCKFADECTL = ZERO  (if the Hatches are on a locked layer)

and maybe XDWGFADECTL = ZERO  (if the Hatches come from an XREF)

Bye, Pat

Every hatches are on the same unlocked layer with the same color, but after the plotting they are not the same. For example the EARTH hatch is black but the GRAVEL hatch is grey. It did not work with any ctb settings.

Unfortunately I can not understand the last xdwgfa... answer.

I give up, and use some kind of contrast effect in another program to darker the grey shade. Man Embarassed

Thx!

Hello

OK so no CTB/STB use !

and LAYLOCKFADECTL = 0  and  XDWGFADECTL = 0

But have you used the new Transparency feature of ACAD 2011 ?

In the Layer Dialog box, have you in the Transparency column something different from ZERO %

for some Layers , especially the Hatch Layers ??

OR if you select a "grey" hatch" and then properties , have you a "forced" Transparency on this Hatch ?

Bye, Pat

YES! I did it! The solution: I used 300 DPI quality, but it works just with the dwg to jpg version.
