hatch origin shifting

Hi,

Some time in the past I had hatched a pattern within a boundary, and found a way to "shift" the hatch origin within the box so that the hatch would appear in an optimum configuration.

This would be most useful with the "wood" hatches, where the "whorls" of the wood could be moved out of range, and just the wavy grain would appear.

Also would be useful for centering net or grid patterns.

Perhaps it's just something as simple as selecting the hatch, and moving it while holding the control key down..

Thanks.

There is the HATCHSETORIGIN command.  Or the option within the lower left corner of the BHATCH dialog box.

You can also right-click on an existing hatch and select "Set Origin" to change it.
