Situtation:-
Upgraded machine 1 from Autocad design suite standard 2013 to Autocad design suite standard 2015
Upgraded machine 2 from Autocad LT 2014 to Autocad LT 2015
Problem:-
Grips work normally and correctly in a drawing.
But if we perform a BEDIT command on any blocks, and try to use grips actions on ANY object within a block, it doesnt snap to the grip, the grip will display, but won't perform an action.
This is kind of vital to us as we have many drawing templates, dynamic and normal blocks which we need this manipulation available.
We have 2 other machines still running 2014 of both the software versions and do not have this problem, on existing, current and newly produced drawings, so really think its software specific. All hardware is the same.
Any advice will be welcome.

Can you upload a sample drawing containing at least one block that exhibits the unexpected grip behavior?
See attached drawing, just tried it on 2014 and you can moved the text, attributes and lines etc in the block via grips, in 2015 it only displays a grip and nothing can be done.
Grips appear to function properly within the Block Editor here using AutoCAD2015 SP2, so perhaps it's something specific to your configuration.
Have you applied either Service Pack 1 and/or Service Pack 2?
Did you migrate your setting from a previous version? If so, try switching to a non-migrated AutoCAD profile (Tools > Options > Profiles)
If it's a "Clean" install anyway without much customization, try resetting everything back to default Windows Start > Programs > Autodesk > AutoCAD2015 > Reset Settings to Default
Actually the migration thing may be an answer (will report back)
Both users prefered the classic menus which are not part of 2015 without a bit of messing around.
So will try a resest tp default option.
Resetting to default got the grips working again, so I will accept this as a solution.
Neither user really happy though as it means losing classic menus, is there a fix to this other than pulling in options from a previous release?
It's actually really easy to recreate the Classic workspace from scratch in AutoCAD2015 in just a few minutes.

In the link above, the user minimizes the Ribbon, but to get back to a fully classic workspace, use RIBBONCLOSE to turn off the Ribbon entirely and change MENUBAR = 1 to get the dropdown menus back as well.... as always save the workspace so your customizations are preserved between sessions.
