Grips don't work or stay selected when I zoom out to select more

When I select some grips and zoom out to select more I loose the grips that I previously selected, does anyone know why and how to fix it? I am using 2015LT.

How are you zooming out, with the wheel on the mouse?

Sorry, I don't know and I can't duplicate this here.

Does this happen occasionally or every time?

Take a look at this thread. Does this seem to be the same issue you are having?

It happens every time that I am selecting multiple grips and they are not in the view when the first grip is selected. If the grips, no matter how many, are in the original view they can selected and worked with but as soon as I zoom out I loose them. I will check out the thread in a bit. Thank you for looking at this issue for me.

AutoCAD does that: it has a habit of dropping selections htat are not immediately on screen otherwise you would not be able to pan easily.

Sometimes, >>>not always<<<, the ways to get around that are:
- REGENALL then do what you want.
or
- Start the command you want to use first, then select all the items.

Is the problem file specific? Try setting HPMAXAREAS to zero.
